  • So once I got to 210, had my hubby snap a pic to celebrate!!! I am a couple of pounds less now, took this in mid-January. (Although I hate my hair right now, trying to grow it out--slower process than losing weight, IMO)

The before (I hate to admit it but I think I was as wide as Pooh Bear!!) and after. My starting weight is an estimate, cause I did not step on the scale for about 3 weeks after I started my lifestyle change, and when I did, it read 266, so I rounded to 270. It probably was more than that, now that I am looking at the before pic.

Needless to say, I feel great, and looking forward to making it out of "obesity" (6 more pounds) and into "onderland" and beyond!!!!

  • You look amazing!! Congrats and thanks for inspiring me =)
  • congrats, how did you lose so fast? what did you do? good luck on finishing!
  • You look amazing! Congrats on all the hard work paying off!!!
  • Oh my gosh! You look fantastic! Woohoooo!!!!
  • That is awesome and you look great!! Very inspiring!
  • Well, I don't think I lost the weight really fast, ha ha!!!
I count calories and stopped eating all the process crap foods. Read a book called Skinny ***** and while I didn't agree with everything (it was a big pitch for veganism, which is something I'd never be able to implement to the fullest) I learned a lot from that book and made quite a few of the changes suggested and it definitely helped. I started out eating around 1800 calories and have gradually dropped that to 1500. I bought a used Elliptical machine and demanded that my husband stop parking in our garage, it would now be our home gym. (Not too big of a deal since we live in California). I move EVERY day. Whether I use my elliptical, do the 30 day shred, take a long walk, play tennis with my husband, I make sure that I'm active. I am a former athlete, so I have always enjoyed exercise, I just always ate more than I should have. I guess my husband sometimes thinks I am obsessed with exercising now, but it truly makes me feel awesome!!! And, I have to admit, he has been on board with this change and has made it a lot easier than doing it alone. Plus, he's lost 22 lbs and dropped his high cholesterol by 30 points so it has been a win-win.
  • Oh man, I hope I look that good at 210! Great job!
  • A picture is worth a thousand words. You look mahr-velous darling!

  • I was going to say the same thing, sooo much younger. Also, I'd like to say I would have never thought you weighed 210 in that most current picture. Just what I needed to inspire me today, thanks for posting!!! Congrats to you!
