So I've switched from jogging at one pace for 30 minutes to a 5 minute warm up, 12 minutes of 60s/60s fast run/fast walk, and then a 5 minute cool down... total of 21 minutes but I'm going to work my way up to doing a few more intervals... is this really better than jogging for 30?
BTW my warm-up/down is a 4.5 speedwalk at a high incline.

I've heard that it is, and I feel like I'm working harder when I do intervals.
I sweat a lot more when I am doing intervals instead of one pace for the entire time. I am not sure if one is actually better then the other though...
I sweat a TON more too! Not sure what that means.
I read somewhere that you burn more fat with intervals. I think it was from one of the Biggest Loser books.
