  • For those who don't know, I decided as part of my new years resolution to not weigh myself for the month of January. I wanted to focus on exercise and the nutritional content of what I'm eating. I'm also pretty close to goal and wanted to see how sustainable my eating plan is without using the scale to measure. I'm usually a daily weigher, so this hasn't been easy for me (I took the scale out of my bathroom to remove the temptation).

    Anyway, tomorrow is the first day of weighing myself in a month. It's not coming at a great time (it's tom for me) but I feel pretty confident that I'll have lost, even if it's only a pound or two. I'll post an update tomorrow but probably won't change my ticker till I've checked a few days in a row. I'm also trying to eat normally today and not starve myself/ cheat.

    I used to weigh weekly, then moved to daily for months which in the end drove me mad, and now that I've hit goal and learning to maintain I'm working on going back to weekly again. I managed it for a couple of weeks but the last few days I've been weighing daily again so it has to stop.

  • Thanks everyone!! I'm pretty excited to see how it turned out! I AM a little nervous cuz I did eat more than I should have this weekend. I was so excited about a job interview I had that I didn't plan well and was "celebrating" (even though I didn't get the job yet-- but the interview went great and I'm happy to see my agency has faith in me). The rest of the month went well, so I'll be pretty surprised if I gained.

    Have you found it hard? I've been wondering whether to do this myself. I force myself to only weigh weekly because my weigh-ins seem to do something to my head that makes me fall/jump off the wagon, but wondering if I could get through a whole month...
