couch potato needs motivation!

  • hey guys, so i started my new diet today and i want to start waking/jogging everyday also, but im so out of shape and i get tierd after like 5 mins! Any tips on how to motivate myself to just get off my lazy butt and do it? Thanks guys.

    5 minutes is better than 0 minutes and soon you'll be able to go for 10 minutes, then 15 and more and more! The more you do it, the easier it'll become.

    Set a goal for yourself....maybe walking at least 10 minutes each day for a week. When you do that, give yourself a pat on the back and then shoot for 15 minutes a day next week.

    Then you'll catch the exercise bug and your body will be craving that great physical feeling that comes from moving and using your body regularly.

  • Well said peanutt ... it's always hard to start b/c there are so many other things to do. Sometimes you just gotta do it! No time like the present! When watching your favorite show, just get up and walk in place for the commercials ... you'll be surprised how good you'll feel later on!!
  • thanks ladies! Im leaving in about an hour to go walking. Im gonna try to shoot for atleast 30 mins walking and also try and jog a little in between! Lol
