Doing It My Way

  • Over the last 4 months I've lost 43 lbs by building an awareness of calorie counts & portion size. I at this point can eat anything I want ( although in the day to day of life I eat pretty clean). The big thing for me is that I eat between Hungry & Just Barely Full. That looks like about 1-2 cups of food. My calorie count is about 1300-1600 per day on average. It has taken the 4 months to learn what works for me. I'm 65 yrs old & feeling better then I ever have. Most importantly I feel I have a lifestyle I can actually do for life & am free from diet prison

    I keep telling people I am a bit calorie counting, a bit of SB, a bit of WW and 100% gluten/grain free (allergy).I call it my real food diet.

    How about the Little Bit Diet ! We are getting little by losing bits. I've added you to my buddy list as I love your sense of humour.Your bits are very similar to what I've come to believe. Isn't it wonderful to be able to trust ourselves & be free of the fear & guilt.
