One of the more insulting things I've heard when I was out to dinner was "Oh, you're eating salad? Good for you."
Okay, I almost always eat salad when I go out to dinner. It's either that or a chunk of meat with veggies as the side. Why is it so dumbfounding that fat people really do eat food that's good for them? Don't get me wrong, I often eat too much, and I'm far from perfect, but c'mon.
Did I mention that it was an ex who made that comment?
Maybe if he'd spent more time talking with me and less flirting with the waitresses, he might have noticed before then. What about you?

I did not have a crappy diet. I mean I did...I'd indulge in the office donut more than I would do now. I ate pizza, but my limit was two slices. From what I've read a lot of women my weight would down the entire pizza. I never did that.
But I have always loved my veggies, I used healthy homemade olive oil dressing on my salads, never ordered cheese based sauces at restaurants and usually ordered fish or grilled chicken.

Did I mention that he'd put on over 20 lbs in the 8 months that I'd known him...where as I'd dropped 30?
