I've been following my plan food wise but admit that I have fallen off big time the past couple of weeks drinking diet gingerale. The plan I'm on doesn't allow the type of artificial sweetener in the soda. I have been having many (8) per day. The problem is my weight has been creeping back up and I'm wondering if it could be the soda. I was drinking water before. I am on a semi-low carb plan and my carbs have been low since 1-1-11.

If that is your only change, they would be highly suspect. That's alot of soda.
Double check portions, cut down on the soda, and see what happens. Good luck!!!

8 diet sodas a day would cause some pretty bad bloating
Diet soda still has a lot of sodium. I would vut it out completely and switch o green tea if you need the caffeine.
