Is there a Richard Simmons Food Mover Group here, on 3 Fat Chicks? If so, can you give me directions how it is listed?

  • There is a Richard Simmons group here-when you came to the general diet plans section of these boards to post here, it was at the very top of the general diet plans section.
Hope you like it here-JoJo at RS boards is very kind and motivating.

May I ask............What is the Old Fashion Way?

  • That is a thread I started over a year ago and it is still going strong!
I wanted to start a thread for women who are losing weight the old fashioned way-by eating healthier and exercising regularly. There are so many gimmicks in the diet industry now, the ab belts, the pills and lose while you sleep drinks-and even the potentially harmful products out there such as the diet pills and prescription drugs and 48 hour Hollywood juice fasts.
I am a firm believer that slow and steady wins the race. The ladies on this thread do not use gimmicks or pills, and we follow healthyplans such as calorie counting, Weight Watchers, Richard Simmons-any healthy moderate plan is welcome.
Everyone seems in such a hurry to lose weight-but they are never in a hurry when they are gaining that extra 20 pounds over a course of a few years. Funny, huh?
You are welcome to join us or just lurk around the thread, as well as the Richard Simmons boards.
    Good Luck in your goals!

  • Thanks Aphil!
for explaining that plan to me. Makes a lot of sense! Actually, I plan to do that myself. I am reading the Mayo Clinic Healthy Plan book and it uses the exchanges from the new pryamid. The New Pryamid has the veggies and fruits at the bottom. I personally, I think it is the healthiest way to lose weight. I am hoping I can do it this way!!!!!!
