At my office there tends to be a lot of treats floating around. This morning when I stepped into the lunch room there was a basket of mini hershey's bars - there were around 30 pieces. They were mostly the milk chocolate with almonds kind.
When I went to eat my lunch at 1:30, the basket was empty - save for 4 pieces of the regular milk chocolate kind. Based on the type of candy that was taken I bet that one person took it all. Can you imagine how many calories are in that stash? How many empty calories are being consumed?
I am by no means perfect, and it took a lot of willpower for me to resist having one this morning....but come on! 30 pieces of chocolate!

It's the only milk chocolate, besides Godiva, that I like.
But I'm trying to at least buy chocolate with better ingredients (like cacoa) instead of going for the cheapest (which means there's more for me to eat). I found this chocolate that has chili peppers in it, and all of the ingredients are things that I've heard of, and its made into five decent-sized bars (which are under 200 cals each). I'm not saying that it's healthy, but it's more satisfying, and I eat less of it.
