To many calories?

  • Hey this is my second time doing phase 1 and my weight loss is nothing compared to last time, infact from yest to today it has gone up by .2kg. I know its not much but i guess it has me reviewing calories, even though i realise counting is not that point of the SBD.

    I just worked out that for breakfast im have around 350 calories (2 hardboiled eggs, lemon pie recipe from breakfast section)
    Usually when im not on SBD i would have oats and would usually total 200 calories at the most.

    What do you guys think?
  • 350 calories is not too much for a nutrient dense breakfast - so long as you are balancing your caloric intake over the rest of the day. I think we should likely be eating a larger breakfast, a medium sized lunch and a small dinner for maximum nutrition and health. I should practice what I preach.
  • I think you would need to count the whole day, not just one meal.
  • It's pretty common to lose more weight the first time on Phase 1, after that it's more useful to control cravings but you may not get the same drop.
  • I have never lost as much when I repeat Phase I (as the first time).
