Hey this is my second time doing phase 1 and my weight loss is nothing compared to last time, infact from yest to today it has gone up by .2kg. I know its not much but i guess it has me reviewing calories, even though i realise counting is not that point of the SBD.
I just worked out that for breakfast im have around 350 calories (2 hardboiled eggs, lemon pie recipe from breakfast section)
Usually when im not on SBD i would have oats and would usually total 200 calories at the most.
What do you guys think?
350 calories is not too much for a nutrient dense breakfast - so long as you are balancing your caloric intake over the rest of the day. I think we should likely be eating a larger breakfast, a medium sized lunch and a small dinner for maximum nutrition and health. I should practice what I preach.
I think you would need to count the whole day, not just one meal.
It's pretty common to lose more weight the first time on Phase 1, after that it's more useful to control cravings but you may not get the same drop.
I have never lost as much when I repeat Phase I (as the first time).
