3 Things You Want To Accomplish in 2011

  • Hi all. I thought it would be fun to think and plan ahead for 2011. I would love to hear what all of you want to accomplish, it may give me some ideas too.

    So here I go.

    1. get to goal by june
    2. Change my career; I am starting school next week (while working) to become a Pharmacy Tech, I would like to work for Tampa General Hospital.
    3. Take a cruise on the Oasis of The Seas wearing size 10 or less.

  • I would have to say I haven't had a chance to really think of this. Good idea for a thread!

    1) Would love to hit 200 pounds for the first time in a long time by May (goal day)

    2) Become a national achiever where I work for this year.

    3) I want to look and feel like a totally new person by the holidays later in 2011.

    2. Get a job
    3. Start college
  • Hmmm...let's see.

    1. Finish my divorce.
    2. Graduate college with honors.
    3. Find a great new job that makes me happy.

    When I look at all of my goals, 2011 is the year to finally focus on returning to the happy person I used to be by taking care of myself.
  • -Get to goal by grad school graduation in May
    -Build our dream home and stay on budget (we are closing on some land...should start building in Feb!)
    -Be a better housekeeper- don't let messes pile up

    Here are my goals:

    1) Get to goal by this spring
    2) Increase my physical fitness/activity level so I can kayak, etc. when we go to Alaska in June
    3) Get pregnant this summer!

    1. Make my vanity goal
    2. Run a couple of 5k's - the first one is scheduled on the 15th of January
    3. Hopefully on my way to getting married
  • 1. Maintain my weight
    2. Hike a Colorado 14er (Co has over 50 mountains that are over 14,000ft)
    3. Make kids more accountable to help with cooking and cleaning

    1. Reach my goal weight by May and maintain all the way through 2011.

    2. Visit a rainforest.

    3. Learn something new, like how to install a new light fixture.
  • I have 6 things I have defined for myself. Sorry for not playing by the rules.

    1) To not live to work but to work to live.
    2) To finish my weight loss journey and dedicate that energy into maintaining the loss.
    3) Once I have achieved my goal weight, donate # lbs lost in food lbs to my local food bank.
    4) Walk in and finish my first half marathon - "We must walk before we can run".
    5) To continue to allow myself to feel emotions instead of hiding from them.
    6) Now for the fun one: I want one day that I will make into 'Sandy's Musical'.

    1. To make my goal weight in June
    2. To begin graduate school in May
    3. To buy a formal gown in the "not-plus-size" section for the Air Force Ball in September
  • I like this thread! Okay, here are my 2011 goals:

    1. Be 150 lbs by May 9, 2011 (goal day)
    2. Jog the Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning this year (instead of walking it like I did in 2010)
    3. I want to tone my muscles/body along with the awesome weight loss that I'm going to achieve!

    2. Reach 150-160 by June

  • 1. Wear these adorable running shorts that don't fit just yet....bought them though.
    2. Score an excellent on my fitness test in April.
    3. Reach my goal weight by my vegas trip in May.
