New from Texas

  • Hi y'all!

    I joined here in June and read many inspiring threads but this is my first post.

    I am a teacher and when school starts in the fall I fall off my exercise program. I dared to step on the scale this New Year's Day and I have gained back most of the 15 pounds I lost last summer.

    I like the Mediterranean diet because I love bread and fruits and veggies. The real challenge is finding the time and inclination to exercise. I am looking forward to a healthy New Year and new friends here.

    It is hard to find time to do all the things we need to do isn't it? Make yourself at home here. Come and read a little each day. Maybe join an exercise accountability thread. We're here to encourage you.
  • Hey yall! Im new too... actually I've been reading things from this site a little over a year now... but I have finally joined. Once I get the funds together I am going to join weight watchers... I wanted to start it for the new year... but I had car troubles and had to spend the money I was going to use on weight watchers to fix my car. I'm so excited to start my weight loss journey!!
