Hello

  • Just joined 3FC and wanted to say hi.

    I want to lose about 150 lbs., of which I've gotten rid of slightly more than 3 so far. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been in my life, although I've been moving steadily down the overweight-morbidly obese continuum for most of my 20-odd years.

    I'm not currently on any particular diet, just watching what I eat and trying to exercise more often and more regularly. I have lost some weight in the past on my own and on WW, although I didn't come close to a healthy weight, or manage to keep it off.

    I'm in grad school at the moment, which is a bit stressful, but I'm going to try to lose weight anyway; I'll certainly do my best to stay on track.

    I'm hoping to find in the boards here good sources of information, a positive community, and hopefully some positive feedback (when it's merited).

    Looking forward to seeing you all around the boards.
  • Hey there! You're definitely in the right spot!

    You might want to check out our 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more...also the 20-somethings, for those in that age range (a lot of whom are still in school).

    Anyway, look around, find a spot, and keep posting. Can't wait to get to know you better!

    I hope you find all the support you need (and you will if you look) here. Keep a positive attitude and make sure not to go full force at the beginning because you'll only end up falling back.
