  • Since Feb 2007, I have had brain MRIs every few months due to having a brain tumor. It was removed in May '07 and these are just follow ups. There has been no regrowth, thank God, so it's routine.

I went in this evening for a four month follow up. When they "rolled" me into the MRI machine I realized that I didn't have to scrunch my shoulders in and the machine was actually roomy. I don't mind the MRIs and can sometimes catch a cat nap, but this was the first one where I was comfortable.
  • great!
  • Cool! NSV's are the best!
  • That is a very good NSV. Being comfortable is such a good feeling!
  • That's wondeful new, and even better news that there has been no regrowth!
  • Health AND an NSV! Congrats!!!
  • Now that's a special one! Well done!
  • That's a Double Whammy of great successes!! Congrats on both!
  • What a wonderful NSV! So glad to hear that you are getting good results. I identify with that. I had an MRI a couple of weeks ago. I asked the technician if I would have a problem fitting in. She laughed and told me "of course not!"
  • That was win-win! No regrowth and more room! YEY!
  • I've heard such horror stories about the tight fit! Good for you!
  • Woo hoo!! Great news on both fronts!
  • Awesome!!
  • Thanks, everyone. Just saw my neuro-oncologist and the scans are still clear. He and the resident both commented on my weight loss and how good I looked! Great day!
  • Great News, Jen! Weight loss and good test results!
