Trying to remain calm!!

  • I started the new program on Sunday, by Tuesday was down by 3 lbs which i know is probably mostly water weight. Tuesday night started tom and by this morning i'm back up 3 lbs. I've been following, weighing and tracking every crumb/point in my mouth. I've aslo been doing alot of cardio this week, and drinking more than enough water. I'm hoping it's just a tom fluctuation. Not to say too much but with the diet change has been trouble going (if you know what i mean!)!!

I think my body has been so used to the crap i've been eating....just looking for some friendly advice or if this has happened to you then the weight started to come off?
  • So you are on the 4th day and your weight is the same? I don't think it's time to panic yet.
  • I had lost in the first few days, I agree with you. I was so excited! Then to see back where i was this morning was a bummer!
  • don't get worried yet, you may just have to tweek some things. how much fruit are you eating? i think i will limit mine to just the recommended per day...what is it? 3-4 servings?
  • Oh i don't eat more than that either. It has made me alot fuller because in the past i'd have popcorn or something non-filling. Fruit has definitely helped me alot!
  • yeah daily flucuations are so normal, I mean you could have had something with high sodium yesterday that caused you to retain today, or it could be tom or even sometimes if you drink TOO much water it can stay with you instead of flush out right away, our bodies are so crazy sometimes, lol.. I would take it in stride and see how your official wi pans out. I weigh daily but I only do it because it doesn't bother me to see up and downs on the scale as long as by the end of the week it all averages out at my official wi
  • If you have exercised more than usual you can temporarily retain water.

Also if you get a little constipated that can add weight.

All of that will resolve itself in time so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I weigh myself everyday and see strange fluctuations all the time.
