  • So, I'm trying to think of when I was at my least fat. I was 5'6 and 190 lbs, here is my pic at that weight, I believe this was the DAY I achieved that weight, ha, and the only real pic of me from before I gained it all back...and fast!

Oh well, those were the days. haha. Anyhow, I was googling something about katy perry and this website came up saying how she is not the hourglass she says she is, had several pics comparing her to other actresses who clearly are, anyhow, one of the actress was christnia hendricks. I googled her and found her measurements (I think the most accurate seeming one I saw was something like 38-29-39)

Anyhow, she has a body shape close to my own. I'm an hourglass, though currently, a large one. :P

They say she is 154 and 5'8. I'm just messing around trying to see what weight I would need to be to keep my rockin' curves. haha. I'm 5'5 (now, I shrunk an inch, they think it's due to my weight! Will I get that inch back!?)

Here she is, this pic looks weirdly photoshopped, but either way it's pretty much how she looks generally but I had a hard time finding pics of her that were full length: (obviously we know what types of pics were easy to find. ha)

Anyhow, I'm just daydreaming of the future here. Anyone else feel free to post their celebrity body pics too, I think it's kind of neat. ha.

p.s I read she is heavier than most actresses but that she is very fit and toned and not 'chubby' at her weight. I wouldn't mind that.
  • I'm not seeing either of your pics...can you try reposting them

  • I'm not seeing the pictures either.
  • I fixed it
  • Definitely wouldn't mind looking like that. I'd have to get a boob job though because even over weight I'm small chested. Infact that's the only part of my body I'm praying doesn't shrink. I think (not sure because I've been over weight most of my life) that I still have an hour glass shape. My rib cage is wide and so are my hips. Sooooooo, I really don't have much of a clue what I'm going to look like.
  • I'm a big fan of "Mad Men" and absolutely love Christina Hendricks on it. She is definitely the celebrity body type I'm aiming for. As for being toned, she's got a little bit of a limitation on that--for her role, the show's creator told her (and the other principal actresses on the show, too) not to get toned arms. Women in the late '50s and early '60s watched their weight, but didn't try to develop definition anywhere, either, so to look right for their era, the female MM cast members all have a softer look than Hollywood standard regardless of their weight.

January Jones is a good bit thinner than Christina Hendricks, but you can Google her and see those same old-fashioned arms on her. Weird how much beauty standards have changed in just a few decades, isn't it?

A friend of mine linked me a pic of a Bollywood actress who looks awesome to me and whose body shape/type I'd like to emulate. Her name is Namitha Kapoor:

Big boobs, big hips, and thin waist is an attainable aspiration for me. Katy Perry's proportions, though, are probably out of reach for me at my age, even though I think she looks outstanding and I wish I could turn that clock back.

  • Any of these ladies would be OK with me. I'm not curvy, never will be, don't wanna be!
  • My goal is to be just like Catherine Zeta Jones. She is thin but not too thin and still has beautiful curves.

  • this is my thinspiration photo on my laptop. i used to look like this. big boobs and nice generous hips. not as toned though

  • I think Marilyn is beautiful. I have the curves, but not as long as legs. Is she considered big by today's standards? Voluptuous maybe?

  • Ladies, I'd be thrilled with any of your choices.
  • I love love Jennifer Lopez ....
  • I wish I could look like Christina Hendricks! Her hourglass shape is unattainable to me without some major plastic surgery though. There aren't many celebs who are apple shaped like me and some who are like Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham are way too thin for my taste.
Drew Barrymore is an apple that I think is closer to my ideal. Especially when she's slightly "heavier" (at least according to Hollywood).

  • Jojo, Marilyn is considered "perfection" by a lot of sources and DEFINITELY not "big!"
  • Quote: Jojo, Marilyn is considered "perfection" by a lot of sources and DEFINITELY not "big!"
Perhaps, but I know that the definitions of beauty, have really changed since the 60/70's. If you look in magazines today, Marilyn is certainly not thin.
