  • I was just wondering how many of you out there fibbed on your drivers license in regards to weight... I sure did. Ever since I was 16 I've been listing my weight as 140 and if anyone asks that is what I stick to! But in reality I was never 140 at the age of 16 or beyond! I cant wait to actually be my drivers license weight!!
  • I do/have done the same thing..I would always tell the DMV I around 135-145.
  • I'm really happy we don't have to put down our weight for our driver's license. I love Texas. haha.
  • I didn't lie on my driver's license but I was heavier than I am now but only by a few pounds. I had given birth that year so that is why my weight was higher.
  • My state ID (visually impaired, can't drive) says 140 when I was at least 20 pounds heavier at that point.
  • I've never lived in a state that requires people to provide their weight for a driver's license. I'm glad!
  • Oh man. When I got my permit at age 15, I put 115 which was not even close to being true. (I was probably somewhere around 150-155, but barely weighed myself in high school). That weight stuck until I moved to another state at age 24, when I applied for a new license and the DMV attendant asked me what my "current" weight was because "it's clearly changed."

So I put 140, which was still 40 pounds too little but I'm working toward it!
  • The last time I got my license renewed, I weighed 269...I told them 230. That was kinda my rock bottom. I started WW a few days later. I can't wait to get a new license with my real weight on it for once.
  • Quote: That weight stuck until I moved to another state at age 24, when I applied for a new license and the DMV attendant asked me what my "current" weight was because "it's clearly changed."
    Um, rude!

No weight on the licences in MA, thank goodness.
  • I put that I was 5'2 and 145 on my first ever DL. The weight was def. too low then, but the height was accurate. Since then I have always forgotten to change it. The weight wasn't a huge issue, I maintained in the 140s for a couple of years, but I'm now 5'4 and a half. That, coupled with my weight gain in the last two years means that I am always asked for second and third forms of IDs at clubs/certain bars. Now that my weight is semi-accurate and I'm 24 (obviously old enough to drink) I'm hoping that they'll stop asking for extra ID.
  • This made me realize that I actually am a couple lbs LOWER than the weight on my drivers license! Which has ALWAYS been wrong!
I think when I got it renewed about a year and a half ago I had them add 10 pounds to it (which was still about 50 pounds lower than my actual weight) ... but NOW I'm under it! Wow! Amazing haha.
  • I've never lied on my DMV forms. When I applied to get my learner's permit, my mom tried to change it for me. I wasn't going to kid anyone into thinking I weighed 160lbs when I was actually 280lbs. Gah.

But, now I'm a good 20lbs below what my license says.
  • Ha! Great question! My DL weight changed gradually with my own weight over the years, BUT it was always like 30 pounds lower! I kept the DL just under 200 forever, but eventually caved and moved up to 230 the last time I renewed - my HW was 288lb. Small discrepency?? I'm getting close to the day I'll actually weigh what's on my DL... must be time to renew?!
  • We don't have to put our weight on our liscense here in KY. But I did lie about my height! LOL. well not really lie just kinda STREETTCHED the truth. I'm 5'2 but I put 5'3 LOL.
  • This is TOO funny b/c I posted a while back that I was excited b/c I finally weighed less than my driver's license says I do, LOL My license has said 280 pounds for YEARS and years now...and I haven't been that weight in a LONG time. Now I'm more than 20 pounds less than that, LOL
