Jackie Warner = Psychopath

  • Anyone else tried her? Her workouts are insane. I couldn't even do half of the stuff. I also didn't even use weights for most of her workouts, and I still could barely move most of me the next day. My husband had always thought video workouts were usually sissy workouts....guess who did one with me and can barely move now?
Anyway, I do highly recommend her, but I really don't think her workouts are for beginners.
  • I've done all her workouts. Not too bad IMO.

    Have you tried Insanity?

    Nothing beats that.
  • I have her 10 min workout tape. I like her. Maybe you got one of her "advanced" dvds? Try the 10 min one. You can do all sections for 30 min. or you can do 10 min sections one at a time. Anyhoot...she's great!
  • I just did the personal training with jackie DVD. I actually did like it. It was tough. I did the 40 minute segment. The upper ab workout was killing me! We'll see how I feel tomorrow.
  • I prefer Jackie over Jillian. I have one of Jackie. Not all of them.. I gotta do something today.
  • I just got the Personal Training with Jackie Xtreme Timesaving Training dvd and I'm just really getting back into the whole eating well and exercising thing. This dvd is hardcore. I can see using this for a long time as I'm starting with the modified moves with no weights and I can just imagine how much more intense it will be with weights. I like it though, it's a good workout. The first day I did it, I didn't get too far and I couldn't do it all the way through, but I was sore (in a good way) the next day from the little that I did do.
  • She's hardcore mostly because she does the moves RIDICULOUSLY quickly. So much so that it's hard for me to keep good form.

If you do them slower, you're both more likely to be able to get through, and more likely to use proper form.
