Last week I discovered I really comfortably fit back into a size 16 jeans. Since I had just one pair in that size I went shopping to pick up a couple more pair. I couldn't find anything I liked so I didn't buy any. I came home and started going through my small bins.

I have a new wardrobe!!!

I can comfortably wear my size 14 jeans, 4 other pairs of slacks, half a dozen dresses, lots of dressy blouses, sweaters, even a suit I'd forgotten about. Since I'm very conservative and have always aimed for classic styling, I can wear almost all of it. I haven't been able to wear any of this for more than 5 years! Woo hoo!

I wish I would be able to go closet shopping as I go down.. but I have been so big so long that I have gotten rid of everything other than 1 pair of jeans the next size down... man hubby will soon love me with all the shopping I will have to do!
