fix my bike or get a new one?

  • i'd like to take a poll. should i fix the resistance on my recumbent bike or buy a new/used spin bike. i could buy a spin bike at walmart for $200. that sounds pretty affordable and the spin bike would be more challenging to use. (a good thing) i could also get either kind of bike from craig's list, not sure on that price or availability. anyone know if it's pretty easy or a hassle to fix the resistance on a recumbent bike?
  • or i could get a 'trainer' for reg bike. what do you chicks think?
  • I've got rollers for my road bike. It gives me the flexibility to get my exercise indoors or head out when the weather is better. It's been great for me and I get any resistance I want by simply changing gears. Love it.
  • I like my trainer too, I get the same comfy bike year round ....
