I can say this: I lived in a household (as a live-in nanny) where we had a personal chef that cooked VERY healthy meals. Very strict no carbs - low cal - type food and very delicious at that. The fridge and pantry were stocked only with healthy snacks, lots of fresh fruit and veggies were always cut up and ready, there was no candy to be seen anywhere near the house, etc.
And guess what? I still gained weight or at least didn't lose any

. I blame the Indian take-out on Saturday night, the bakery trips to still those cake cravings, and the eating out on Sunday. Or rather, I blame my own lack of discipline to say no to those things.
It would be nice sometimes to do some of the grocery shopping, the chopping and the dishes (hate them!!!), but I also think doing all the work yourself makes you really pay more attention to what you're putting in your mouth.
Definitely agree on the cleaning person though. I HATE cleaning. Hate it. As soon as I earn enough money, I'm getting a cleaning lady to come once a week. I'll gladly cut down on my clothing purchases for that. That's how much I hate it

.
