  • Thanks! But I am a bit worried that week two will be 1 pound :-( I would really love to be under 200 by Thanksgiving. I just going to keep my head down and do what I'm told.

    Week 10 WI yesterday and down another 2.6!! total of 23lbs total!!
    Hoping to hit the 25 next week!! I have never been this successful at losing weight before!! Definitely making better food choices then I ever have been before.

  • Congratulations! 6 lbs is great. Did you peek at the scale during the week? I will have my 1st weigh in Tuesday night and I am so scared that I won't lose anything.
  • Wanting to Shake it Up!
    I am on my 13th day of IP and can't believe how level my blood sugar feels! I realize that all too often I have (over) eaten to get to that same feeling, but was rarely successful due to poor food choices. That is huge!!

    Could someone please tell me what works best to mix these packets? The clinic I've gone to does not sell shakers, so I've tried a couple of others that work okay, but not great. Also, how long do you shake?

    It looks like I will be eating out for the first time tonight. I had hoped to avoid that, but at least I will have total control over the restaurant.

  • Fish Oil Question
    Another Question! I take (prescription) fish oil daily. Does anyone think this will hinder my progress? Any suggestions about the best time of day to take them? Advice appreciated!!

    Bonus IT Question ~ Do I continually monitor the daily chat/s for answers or do most of you have this set up to have replies emailed directly to you? Thanks!!
  • Good morning...... It is morning 6 of the IP program for me... I have been very faithful to the program and last night and this morning have an awful bloated feeling? Any thoughts on why? Or what I could do to help it go away? Or perhaps its just temporary and will go on it's own?
  • Morning everyone! Congrats on the great losses!!

    I have to eat at my mother in laws for the first time since I started this program...she is a fantastic cook, and thats the problem. Will be prepared though!! Wish me luck! haha.

  • Good morning all! I'm on my 27th day of no sugar and no carbs!! I can't even imagine 27 days ago I would have said that. Last night I must not have gotten enough to eat, or all my water/oil/salt because I felt like having a big bowl of some pasta dish. Of course I've come this far so I resisted. I just keep reading/rereading some of the posts here to help me through this. I LOVE the way my stomach feels now (inside mostly, a lot better on the looks) and I hope that everyone just starting on this has dedication to stick to it. It feels automatic to me now. Eating vegi's at lunch and dinner, drinking water all day, etc. I have eaten out a few times and bring my dressing in my purse and haven't cheated once! Still hard for me to believe that. I am on my way to a better me. Have a great weekend everyone and make good choices
