I saw the guy interviewed on CNN, and this is exactly what he said -- that too often people are told or decide to cut out ALL "bad" foods, and then they can't stick to a purely healthy diet, so they give up. He's hoping this research doesn't lead people to eat the way he did, but to suggest that indulgences can be
part of an otherwise healthy diet without sabotaging weight loss.
That said... I did seriously consider having a vanilla cream donut for lunch today.
