Hubby off to LA again...feel like a widow these days, it was nice for awhile...but it's getting old now.

Hey all, I made it through my 50th (OUCH) birthday !!!! It hurt for a little while but I got over it. Life goes on...and now I have to make it better. Want to be around for all those grandkids I am going to have!

Well I guess you could say I am busy..and mostly happy except I had to go buy bigger pants the other day..so one thing that makes me happy...being in better shape ....is not happening....and I haven't taken the time to figure out why I am sabatoging myself....but it is not for me to know so I will just have to stop doing it!

Off to work today for some more orientation so I am slightly more qualified to work in a new area I am tying out in.

You gotta get onto MSN meg, I miss our chats late at night when everyone else is bed.

The weather is terrible here today. I hoep Cathy didn't drown! I know she gets it b4 I do. I am sure we will be uner a flash flood watch today. The rivers can't really handle all of the rain.

I didn't make it to the gym this morning. I was up for about 2 hours last night. I felt very sick to my stomach. No, I am not pregnant! It would be kind of hard since hubby is always out of town. I needed to sleep in a little longer b4 I went to work. I don't know what was wrong with me. I think everything that goes wrong with me is the paxil. I don't take any sort of medication so when I do I think it might be a side effect. I know this, when I go back for my 3 week check up I will give him a run down of the things I had happen. Maybe it is all in my head.

Liz........I have worked in ICN in the past.....sure hope you like it.

I am still visiting in Windsor, Ontario.....still sick with this virus. The night before last....was awake on & off all night coughing....even though I took cough medicine. I have what sounds like a whistle in my throat.....especially when & lay down. Took a new cough medicine yeasterday & last night.....finally slept....thank goodness!!!

I leave for home on Saturday....my plane leaves at 6:13 A.M.!!!

I am at my brother's now for the next 4 nights.....he has a computer....so that is great.

April - sorry to hear that you are feeling bad on your trip. That is never any fun. Is it nice up there? I am so far south I don't know if I can even grasp the idea of cold weather. It is in the 60's here but it is raining so it is really humid. It feels like it is in the upper 70's. Not very good for my hair. I always have to wear it up on days like this. There is now use trying to fix it b/c as soon as you walk outside it is frizz city.

Yup, there were 70 pies at the Turkey dinner. I think that over 200 people were served!

I woke up this morning with a raging headache, upset tummy and body aches. I can't figure out what this is, but I am miserable. R got himself ready for work and discovered that the battery in his car is dead! So he took the truck. I didn't need it anyway as I'm not going to the Ladies Aid meeting. I phoned the Vice Pres and told her to take the reins. I put a pork roast in the crockpot and am going back to bed. I'm so cold! Poor lil ol me!

Nothing much going on here today.. sosdd. I have a meeting with a headhunter at lunchtime today. I hate doing stuff like this that probably won't pan out, but you never know.. so off I go to fill out mountains of paperwork. Then they'll tell me they keep my name on file and let me know if something comes up.. or else they'll have something that is totally wrong for me.. argghh. I am beginning to wonder if I'll ever land a regular job again.

Exercise and food is going fine. scale is still being difficult. I wish there was home liposuction. Just hook yourself up to your vacuum cleaner and voila!!

Linda I may not have anymore body fat left if that ever comes out. I fthey could make it no so painful I would be the first one on the table. I am a big baby when it comes to pain. I try to avoid it at all costs!

No I haven't drowned - well not yet anyway- just really busy.

The rivers are rising around here and will crest on Sunday. My hubby's parents are having to evacuate because the river will be 10 feet above flood stage by then, so all the men are over there today moving things. Their home is actually up on piers, kind of like a 2 story home, but the bottom is actually their garage - you know they park underneath the house. Anyway, there is water everywhere you look around here. Haven't seen this much water in a zillion years!

Kem, def tell your Dr. about your meds and what your feeling. When I was taking Zoloft, boy did I feel messed up. I mean there are things I won't even say here about how I felt taking that stuff. Different meds affect people different ways. A simple change could be all you need....Good luck !! Feel better and stay dry. I lost my car once in a flash flood...not a pretty thing to see.

April, the best thing you can do for your illness is go to a tropical island and sit on the beach while a swelt, handsome, tan, beach boy serves you drinks with little umbrella's in them, fan you and massage your what ever ... Of course he must be mute...right Linny ??

Tippy girl, you've been sick alot lately like this, did you call your doctor ? Maybe you should just tell him/her whats going on. Okay listen go to bed, get a bucket of KFC's honey wings and snuggle up and watch a good movie...... Don't forget the potato wedges
