What food scale do you have?

  • I use mine all the time, but it's OOOOOOOOOOLD. Probably 15 years or so. It's similar to this, but even more archaic and cheap, if you can believe it:

It's not all that accurate, so I'm in the market for a new one. I'd love to hear which one you all recommend.
  • I just purchased an ESCALI Digital Scale. Love it.
Displays in ounces, pounds+ounces, or grams, up to 11 lb/5000 gr.
Has an automatic shutoff. uses 2 AA batteries.
has a feature where you can subtract the weight of the plate/bowl that is on the scale, if you like!
I think it cost me approx $27. Love it.
  • i use a digital scale my cuz got me for christmas about three years ago. i just opened it about a week ago when i got serious about counting calories. it's great and it makes everything so much easier. it measures grams, lbs and oz.
  • I just purchased the Eatsmart precision pro. It was like $25.00 on Amazon. I am patiently waiting on it's arrival.
  • The analog scale I have used for the first 100 lbs of this diet is in your category. I wanted to get something a bit more accurate for weighing in grams (my old one only has hash marks for grams marked every 200 gms) now that I'm getting closer to goal. Purchased a Taylor digital scale at Target for $30. Love it, love it, love it!

I have the same one, I love it!
  • I have the biggest loser scale. Got it at Bed Bath and Beyond for about $17. It is awesome and super easy to use.
  • WW digital scale from years ago. When I get a new one, it will be stylish and sleek enough to sit out on my counter because I use it every day, 3 times a day. But I am thrifty, so I won't get a new until this one dies.

Be sure to get on that tares the weight and measures in both oz/grams.
  • I have both of these.

The first one is great for precision, the second one is wall-mounted and more practical, because I can fold it up and close it.

  • Thanks, guys! I have a list to start looking through now. I think I'll ask for one for Christmas.
