I was wondering if there were any other vegetarians on here. I've been one for going on six years. I wanted to know how you think it affects your weight loss: helps it, hurts it?
I think it does both for me. It helps because I eat more healthy foods: veggies, fruits, nuts, beans, etc. It hurts it sometimes because I end up eating a lot of the same foods, so I become bored and want to cheat and eat bad food. Lately, I've been good about cheating.


I definitely don't think I have to eat twice as much as others to get proper nutrition- I actually think I eat healthier than most of my meat eating friends...(Not that that is saying much for some of them eat terribly!)
