Suggestions

  • Hi there. Starting Fall 2008 and ending last year by the end of January I lost over 30 pounds with Metabolic Research Center. I went on stabilization and for awhile did really good. I actually lost 5 more pounds than my goal weight so I'd have some wiggle room.....Well now I am 8 pounds ABOVE my goal weight and am frustrated and need to regroup.

    I'm trying to figure out the best plan going forward. I don't want to sign up again for MRC and go through expense, etc....but still have their diet lists so could try on my own......I have subscribed to Clean Eating Magazine and like the focus and approach makes sense to me.....

    Saw you "Calorie Counters" site and thought it made sense too....have you all found an easy site to track your calories such as sparkpeople.com---or are there other hints you could offer?


    What's the best first step in starting over in your experience. As for myself.....today I'm really focusing on getting 1/2 of my weight in water and watching what I eat.....

  • I LOVE my fitness pal. It's got the best database I've found and it's very easy to work with I think.

    Also, I'm over in Topeka! Yay, Kansas! Lawrence is our favorite place to go eat, I think I'd get in trouble if I lived over there!!
