I Tucked In My Shirt Today!

  • I am in the medical field. I ordered a pair of unisex-sized scrubs with the insignia of my favorite college team and they arrived yesterday. With the unisex scrubs, if you do not tuck in the top they tend to look messy....at least on me they do. I tucked in the top, and although I am still not completely comfy with my tummy, I don't look half bad!!

I cannot tell you how many years it has been since I wore ANYTHING tucked in!!
  • Fantastic!
  • Congrats, what a victory! Im sure you feel awesome
  • Thanks, friends!!
  • Fantastic!!
  • It is funny that you mention this because I have just started this past week tucking things in to see how they look and man...it feels good!

    Congrats to you!!!

    Congrats to you!!!

    Congrats to you, too!!
  • Woohoo! Great job .
I can't wait for the (long-away) day when I can start wearing button down shirts tucked into trousers. You just don't look very professional with them hanging out.

    So happy for you
  • Awesome
  • Isn't it fun to lose weight?
Isn't it fun to be a smaller size?
    You betcha!!!
  • WOW! Thank you so much for that post. That is something I forgot about... I used to always tuck and I don't remember where along the way I quit tucking and quit wearing belts. Can't wait to get there just like you!
  • That is great! Congratulations.
  • I just did this for the first time yesterday too! LOL! My "uniform"-ish t-shirt I wear on Thursdays is too big and yesterday I thought I'd try tucking it. I don't like the way pants pucker out under the belly button and I felt like my pants were doing that yesterday, even though it was just because the pants are sloppy. They're a little too big too. Because the pants AND shirt were too big, I felt like there was extra air in the material.

Anyway...DH immediately commented on how thin I looked! So it must work despite my own perception.
  • Congratulations! Tucking a shirt in always feels Great!
  • That's great! I can't wait until I feel good enough to do that.

    Congrats!
