I tried to get a post out to you several times yesterday, but it wouldn't let me. MSN is making more improvements, so I think this may have something to do with it.
Yes, I am proud of the weight I've lost, but it really wasn't that hard to do on the Atkin's diet. As long as you tell yourself you don't want or need refined sugar or white flour ever again (and mean it), then the rest is easy. I was amazed how quickly the pounds came off, but I really missed bread and potatoes at first -- for about a week.
I hope to make a lot of friends in here, although sometimes I feel like an outsider, because I've already reached my weight goal (and then some.) What many people don't realize is that even though I'm slender now, there are times I still want that piece of chocolate cake or apple pie -- and it takes every inch of willpower I have to leave it alone!! This is the kind of test that can leave a person weak at the knees and dizzy!!
