Hi everyone,

Well it is the last day of the week. Finally right? I bet you all can't wait for the weekend.

Today is usually a cheat day for me. But I am not looking at it that way anymore. I want to stay in my points today. So I know I will do good.

I have stuck to my points for 5 days now and I don't want to blow it. I can have what I want just as long as it is in my points. It will be a busy day for me. I have to go clean today then go pick up megan at school and clean there to. So I will be busy. I don't know if I will get to curves or not today. I did get to curves on Tues and Wed this week. They were closed on monday. But good news starting in nov. they will be open on sat. so that is a good thing. I am excited about that.

Hi Ladies
Well it is Friday again. Time for the weekend. Dont have too many big plans. Tonight going to a football game. Son ask if we would take him. Said I would. But boy is it going to be cool. Suppose to get around 52 today. So I guess we will just have to bundle up and drink alot of hot cocoa.
Yesterday was hubby birthday. He had PT yesterday morn. Then I have a friend that is in the hospital. So we went and seen her. Then we ate lunch. I had a piece of fried chicken and a baked potatoe. I hadnt had a piece of fried chicken in a long time. So as I am eating it. Hubby said boy that looks good. So I ate half and he ate the other. Then took hubby out for supper last night. I had a hamburger and fries. Sounds as if I was really bad. But you know I was overly stuffed. I didnt feel to guilty about what I ate. But I did get a little upset stomach I guess from all the grease. Not being use to it. But at least I didnt feel as if I wanted to pick in between meals yesterday. So maybe that is what I needed.
Tomorrow night the group from our church is going to sing at a community center so we will go to that. Other than that no plans for the weekend. Will have to start staying home more. The gas prices here are starting to really go up. Yesterday morn when we went to town this one gas stations gas was $1.39 for regular. When we came home they raised it to $1.45. Told hubby we are either going to have to stay home more. Or get a smaller car. I liked the idea of staying home more.
Sherri good job on staying the same. Sounds as if you are back on track. And that is great.

To everyone else. Am thinking of you. I am happy for all the ones that have lost weight this week. That is great. I am thinking of all of us who have gained. I know we can do this. Just make little changes at a time. The ones who stayed the same that is great. Hope everyone has a great day.
A TOPS PAL

Coco, thanks hands are doing. I went for another emg last week, and have another appointment on Wednes. If i was ready the tests results properly, they are worse than before. So some of my options may be surgery again, live with it, or change jobs. Sometimes I wonder if that is what God is trying to tell me. But I want a brick to hit me in the head. I want it all worked out, and I keep hearing him say, "trust me". Doing a lot this weekend, didn't sign brandon up for soccer yesterday, have to do it today, need my tags for my car updated, have 3 birthdays, our Fall Fun Day, shopping, and a party to get ready for, but other than that, not doing much. The tags will wait till Monday, after that i could get in trouble.
I got mad today at work, and i'm still mad, kinda. Man I really need to get to the point of just letting some things fly. I know what's eating me, and it's 30 years worth of stuff, ok, 39. I'm asking a lot from myself and it's going to take time. I just say a little prayer, and ask for help. For control. Wow. I think i'm starting to break through, now time. My problem with this, is till I get the new me. Staying focused. I didn't over do it yesterday, but could of done better, but like coco, I didn't feel gulity. I'm working it and I will be better for it. Prayer if you all say them, God, please keep us strong. Help us to make the right choices, and help us in our challenges.

I had a gain at weigh-in this morning, but I was expecting one. I ate too much the first part of the week. But I feel that I am on track now and ready to do better. The carbs have been messing up my blood sugar and making me very tired and sluggish. DH and I were getting a lid put on his truck and they gave us a free lunch the other day. I ate some cookies and when we got home, I was so tired, I could barely move. So, I decided that I should go low carbs and high on the protein and I'm feeling much better.
Our meeting this morning was very noisey. Sometimes those women just like to talk too much. We kept rapping the gavel to quieten them down, but they just started again a few minutes later. I gave the program, which turned out to be fun, especially since they were in such a roudy mood. I had written questions out of the "Choice is Yours" and had some wrapped gifts. If they answered the question correctly, they could select a gift. When all the gifts were gone, they could take one from someone else. They enjoyed it and learned the two forms of carbohydrates, too.

Sherri...I liked what you had written from your rally, about being the ceo of your body. I especially liked the part about we control the food, it doesn't control us. Keep up the good work. It sounds like you are doing great.

Coco....It's finally getting cooler here too. Just when I started thinking about moving to Alaska. LOL. It's been in the 70's during the day. That's perfect for me. I opened the doors and let some of the cool weather in. The gas prices are about the same here. They keep going up and up.

Wendy....What does your group do for fall fun day? I wanted to have one, but it didn't work out. And I was wondering how other chapters did theirs.

Today was a good day. Did better than I have in a long time. I am happy with that. The next two months are the worse but I am looking to start the new year less than I did last year.
I am glad that Sherri is feeling good about what she is doing. But I am consumed with losing and I have to plan and work at it. We all have to do our own thing.
I am looking forward to a quiet weekend. I will go watch my grand daughter play ball tomorrow. Don't know how long i will stay. Am in constant pain with my foot and knees but I still did the Richard Simmons sitting tape. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Welcome to all the new people.

Glad to hear you are back on track. See it is getting less time between the slip ups that you are back on track. That is a great change. Keep going. Glad you liked the info. The speakers at the rally were very motivational.

You are right. Everyone has to do what works for them. We are all different and what works for me might not work for you. You are doing great. Good job on doing richard even though you weren't up to it. Sounds like you had a great day. I am so glad to hear that. Sounds like you are motivated again. Is the med. helping this time?
Keep doing what you are doing it is working. You are losing inches I am sure from all the exercise.

We had a wreck! BUT we are OK I let the girl next door drive and she drove us off a cliff, no kidding! No one can tell me that there isnt a God because he was there and he is my best friend! So I just had to post and say THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!
