Stick with it. Stick with it. STICK WITH IT!!! Those pounds may be stubborn - you just have to be MORE stubborn. Keep eating well and exercising and creating a
calorie deficit and the weight will have no choice but to come off.
Forget the stupid brisket and potato salad and beer. Make yourself a nice dinner of grilled salmon or chicken with a big, gigantic salad loaded with romaine hearts, baby spinach, grape tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, cukes, shredded carrots, hearts of palm, sliced strawberries. Or perhaps some yummy roasted turnips instead. This way you'll be having delicious food - and food that's good FOR YOU.
