I've been dancing for about a year now, and absolutely love it, though I learned quite a few years ago when I was a teenager from my aunt, who teaches and performs in a troupe. My favorite dance is the saidi... Working on my costuming. I've never actually performed so it hasn't been an issue but I switched from taking an easy going arts and culture center type class to a university class where we have to make our costumes and choreograph our own couple of dances to perform. This will be a fun experience.

I used to take tribal fusion classes a couple years ago. I still love going to local bellydance events in my area, and I like practicing with my friends, but I haven't started back up with classes yet. My favorite bellydance styles are gothic and tribal fusion.
