I went to the movies last night with my son - haven't been to the movies at this theater since late April/early May - and the last time I was there I could hardly fit in the seat. The armrests dug into my sides and my legs squooshed over onto the seats next to me. Last night I went to sit down and just about fell backward when I not only fit, I had extra room! No armrests (in fact I had inches to spare between me and the armrests!) and no squooshing! Squee!

What a great NSV! My issue at the movies has always been that I need to have my arms on the armrests (because I couldn't cross my arms... big, BIG girls!) When my son was younger, it was easy because he'd sit between dh and I and I would 'steal' his armrest. He never complained. Now, it's just me and dh (ds goes with his girlfriend), and it's just too squished. I'm looking forward to being like you!
