Hi I'm sorta new here

  • I signed up here several months ago but never posted. I guess i wasn't serious yet. I think i am now. I got down to 221 pounds in March and I am now back up to 235. Not good.
I plan to start excersising again and to start calorie counting again. My chest hurts sometimes anymore when i think about bad things. I don't know if there is something wrong with me or if it's just fat sitting next to my heart or just a anxiety attack. I take pills for the last so that shouldn't be it.
Anyhow i plan to get back on track now. Hopefully i will eventually succeed in losing this awful weight. I HATE being fat. I can't take looking like this for life, plus it may eventually kill me by wearing my heart out from the over excursion. I have to get serious now rather than later.
In addition to losing weight i hope to make some friends here.
Just wanted to say Hi so Hi, nice to speak to all of you.

  • hi
    Hi there,

I think you'll feel a whole bunch better physically when you take off some of the weight. When I was at my heaviest (I'm a "featherweight" so it wasn't enormous) but at my heaviest I had all kind of weird aches and pains, I would wake up with weird stiffness in my joints - I was literally like the tin man in the Wizard of Oz for a few minutes every morning - like you I thought, this is not good but was too scared to go to the doctor. After losing a few pounds it kind of stopped...

anyway, good luck on your journey

  • Welcome to the site. It happens to a lot of us, see my sign up date 2006! It didn't stick until 2009. Oh well, live and learn right?

Definitely get that pain checked out, it could be so many things and the last thing you want to do is hurt yourself and be sidelined even longer. Healthy living is all about self care, so mind as well start there.

All the best with the losing!
  • Welcome back Anita to 3FC, we are glad you are here!
