It's been awhile since i have posted here;

  • Hi it has been ages since i have posted anything on this forum. I counted carbs for years and got my cholesterol and liver enzymes screwed up. Must have done something wrong to have that happen. Anyway I did a fruit and nut cleanse for a couple of days, now I am ready for calorie counting. My biggest problem is getting my appetite under control. Yesterday was the worst. I almost caved in last night, I had to fight the urge to eat everything in sight, I ended up just eating a dab of peanut butter. It worked like a charm though, it must have been the protein and fat. I wonder how long it is going to take to be satisfied on a 1500 calorie diet? It shouldn't be starvation. I wonder how long it has taken other people to be comfortable with a reduced amount of food? I know there are people that have counted calories for years and do fine with the amount of calories that are suitable for their bodies. Anyway that is my rant for the day. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday. CM
  • It takes a little while to get adjusted, but your body will adjust, especially once you figure out what works the best for you Filling yourself up on 1500 calories isn't hard at all once you're eating right. I don't know about you, but sometimes fruit triggers me to want to eat more, maybe that's why your appetite was a little out of control after the cleanse? Anyway, good luck on your journey!
