I got a bodybugg!!!!

  • I have been having SUCH a hard time trying to figure out how lose weight at my goal rate... Sorting out exactly how much I am burning when I am at rest, on days I don't make it to the gym, on days I kick my butt at the gym... When the scale wouldn't drop I would find myself trying to sort out if maybe my calorie deficit was too much and my body thought it was starving...

So I made the financial plunge and bought one. I'm about half way through the first 24 hours of wearing it and I am so excited to upload it and see how well I've been doing and hopefully get a better idea of where to go from here.

Does anyone else have one? Do you wear it all the time or only sometimes? Do you feel weird wearing it? I almost feel like it will just draw more attention to me being fat so I have long sleeves on... haha Is that weird??
  • Hi there - just came across this forum/site and it seems pretty cool.

I registered so I could reply to your post :-)

I bought a bodybugg and am now on my 5th week. I absolutely love it. I've lost 10 lbs in the last month (my first week wasn't so great with TOM). I think to lose the 10 lbs before that it took me three months? So, like I said, I love this thing!

I wear my bodybugg ALL the time. Basically the only time I take it off is when I shower. I wear it under my sleeves when at work, etc and nobody ever even knows unless it beeps and then we talk about what it is. They always think it's pretty cool and ask how much it was, etc. They commend me for taking it "that seriously" and usually say they wish they had one. Honestly though when I'm working out or going for bike rides or doing anything remotely active - I pull my sleeve up. I don't know if this is true or not but personally I feel like it's probably got to be more acurate without being covered up under your shirt... and I take pride in showing it off on my arm! I feel better as a "fat person" wearing it cause to me it kind of says "Hey! Look how seriously I'm taking this fitness/losing weight thing!".

Good luck to you! The bodybugg is a GREAT tool. It really helps keep us accountable!
