I have a LBD I want to wear this Saturday, it's pretty fun in design so I have just coupled it with a pair of fairly smart black pumps.

The dress is a little on the shorter side, so I was hoping to wear it with tights (Probably black or at least semi opaque ones)-Would that work? I'll be going to a pretty posh restaurant, so not really the place to be flashing loads of leg! Don't want to look inappropriate-But I think it looks fairly modest with tights.

Any input on whether that would be a suitable would be really appreciated

yes as long as you like it.. I wear my leggings with everything! also try the bending over test... if you bend over and your booty is hanging out there.. then you def need the tights.. if it isn't im sure you'll be fine.. your going to be sitting down any way... or... just pack them in you purse.. it you dont feel comfy excuse your self to the washroom and put them on..

Agree with the previous poster, if you like it and it makes you feel good then go for it. My question is why? I mostly go out to great high end restaurants and I don't understand why you can not show leg. It's summer and if you feel good about your legs and are comfortable showing skin, go for it.
