After a whirlwind 2 week tour of Oregon and then Italy, I'm back at home. I got on the scale this am and was not suprised to see I had gone up a few pounds. Based on the swollen ankles, fingers, etc., I'm sure 1 or 2 pounds is in water weight alone. I got to believe I maintained my weight when I walked 22,000+ steps 4 days in a row!
I'll try to catch up with everyone in the next few days. What I do know is that my resolve to continue with my weightloss was reinforced in Italy. I would say 95% of the "big" people there were Americans. Italians knew right away I was American, and I believe it had to do with my weight more than anything else. Not to say they weren't nice, but there was no guessing if I was German or Nordic or Dutch... I found that aspect very revealing!
Anyway...so I'm back and I'm firmly on the right path!!
