myplate acting weird

  • Is myplate acting weird for anyone else. I usually use the classic version but it's not letting me edit servings or delete things I thought I was going to eat today but didn't. And when I switch to the new version is has different amounts and calories for the things I've already entered.

I've tried to on two computers - the Wintel machine at work and my mac laptop and it's doing the same crazy stuff in both places.

makes me want to go eat a chocolate bar! (well, not really. but it is frustrating the bejeebers outta me...)
  • The only time I ever tried to use that site (about 6 months ago) it wouldn't let me do anything. I have about ten accounts on that site, because I kept signing up and then it would tell me I wasn't a member and so I would try again and it would tell me that the username was taken (so I had signed up!) and then just to see what would happen I would make a new account.
I never, ever got set up. I finally got so upset that I never went back again.

So sorry, I can't help you with this problem, but I have had problems with that site in the past.
  • I use it daily and I haven't had a problem. I do know they said at some point the classic version was being terminated. As for the problem with not getting on, why didn't you ask them for your password?
  • Yeah, the problem seems to be with classic which is the version i prefer but i guess it is time to make the switch to the new version. I hate change (except for the downward changes I see on my scale and pants sizes... those changes I like just dandy!)

Christina - sorry you found it impossible to sign on to myplate. I obviously got past that hurdle but I have had similar problems on other sites over the years and it is soooo frustrating. There are software algorythms that are a challenge to write and implement but the whole signing up new folks is not ne of them. Fortunately for you myplate is not the only game in town!
