SO proud of my boyfriend

  • When I started my diet (back in Jan) I made house rules for my live-in boyfriend. He wasn't allowed to bring home any fast food, or any trigger foods that I gave him a list of. And he only broke the rule once and I made him eat the taco bell out in the hallway.

But little by little he started eating healthier with me and asks the "points" of various food. Now he is full on eating healthier and doing GREAT. He doesn't weigh but his pants have gone from a 44 to a 38.

It's wonderful that he is supporting me and becoming healthy too. It has actually brought us closer together than before!

Do you have a great support story to share too? I'd love to hear em!
  • Me too!
I also have a live in boyfriend, and 5 weeks into the plan he has lost 10 lbs. He isn't following WW, but he is being really conscientious of what I am doing. He asked me how he could make my favorite breakfast in a WW friendly way He has also randomly asked the points values of foods (like a package of donuts) and then said, "WHAT?! I would only be allowed to eat 3 of these a day??" He then proceeded to pick up a banana instead. I am proud of him, and I think that it is bringing us closer together too, especially since he is being so supportive of me.
  • My hubby and I do WW together, attending meetings and doing eTools. I don't think I could do it if he wasn't also doing it. The bad thing is that when he falls, I end up falling and vise versa. It sounds like your boyfriend is doing great!
  • I say send him to the gym to pack some muscle, men's metabolism isn't basically cut out for doing things like dieting, for men it has to go on the other side of the scale in that they have to work out seriously to replace fat with muscle.
