The sun is out and it's going to be a lovely day. I love starting my day with all of you
It helps me get focused and plan my day.Today is a hectic one for me. I'm doing a program assessment this morning. That's 3 +/- hours of standing quietly and taking notes along with counting toys and materials. We've been trying to schedule this one for a couple of months so I hope it goes well. Then it's catch-up on the morning messages, grab some lunch and off to the PT. Back to the office and a hair cut at the end of the day followed by a trip to the Co-op. June is always crazy between planning for the new year that starts July 1, all the last minute requests from programs, and using up vacation time
Tomorrow I'm off to my parents after staff meeting. Summer is tough for my mom with no subbing so no breaks. I try to get there once a month. My brother and soon to be step kids are coming the weekend after then my daughter will be there July 4th weekend. Hopefully all that company will perk my Dad up a bit. I'm spending an extra day so we have 3 full days to do stuff. My Mom always plans stuff to do when I'm there though I'd be happy to just hang out
There will be a day out with Dad and then 2 days of thrifting and maybe garden shop hopping. I'll bring my bike for early evening rides. Food will be even more on plan then at home. My Mom has taken it all very seriously and makes lots of veggie and bean salads and grilled fish while I'm there. She has lost about 30 lbs since I reached goal and makes sure to walk at least 5 miles each day (I got her a pedometer like mine). Her doctor is very impressed!Okay, time to plan my food and get this day moving. Hope the sun is shining where you are

It sounds like the rest of your week will be fun, though. That's wonderful news about your mother, congratulate her for me! My mother is diabetic and did so well for almost a year following SBD, but then she slipped up and never did get back on board, despite much coaxing from me.

to those who haven't checked in yet.
