Hi everyone,
I'm new to the whole weight-loss forum thing and, as a guy, feel kind of weird joining a message board with 'chicks' in the title. So be it.
My story: grew up really overweight, was about 280 until my last year of school, now am about 6'2", 225. I'm in my early 30s now. I usually run quite a bit for exercise but am entirely aware that food intake trumps activity output any and every day of the week. I've been as low as 193 and as high as around 235 within the last few years. I am usually around 220, but right now am trying to find my way down to 205/210.
I think my main reason for joining is that I need a little bit of community support in order to keep on track, and I also know my problem areas (i.e. dangerous situations/times for overeating), but not necessarily what to do about them. Hopefully there are some good ideas in here.
