About time to take action!

  • So I've never actually joined a forum before but my pregnant friend is on a pregnancy forum and loves the support and advice she gets so I thought I'd try it out! To tell you about myself I had my incredible son five years ago and still blame the pregnancy for the weight I've been carrying ever since I am currently at 191 and my goal is 130. Of course I've tried diets in the past but I suck at sticking with anything so none lasted, but now I want to enjoy life like I use to so I'm gung ho to stick to eating sensibly and exercising regularly because that honestly is the way to do it, I wish there was the magic pill that dissolved fat but sadly there is not! I have a very important wedding I will be attending in January and would LOVE to wear a form fitting dress and show off my new self. So in 8 months I would like to lose 60 lbs! Any suggestions or motivation is greatly needed!

    Honestly, once you start losing those pounds, you'll
    feel so great and motivated to keep going until the end.
  • I am also trying to lose weight and am in need of support. New to forums too, glad to hear I'm not the only one. I really think the friendly encouragement will help. I have tried and failed many times and had thought I had given up but am trying again. Tomorrow AM I WILL change my life. Hope to keep in touch with others on the same path.
