I am eating on plan today also. The scale is not down but maybe it is because I lost so much last week. I don't know but I am not going to give up.

Had my first call for my ad today. I have to call her after 5pm tonight. So I will let you all know. Keep your fingers crossed it is a deal.LOL

Hi Everyone,

Well, I had to cut my vacation short. I don't know if any of you remember, but back in January of this year, my best friends husband was very ill and I had to miss our (TOPS) open house to be with her at the hospital. He was in intensive care for months and was finally better and in the nursing home, taking physical therapy to get him walking again. We thought he was doing good and would soon be home, but he took ill again and died. So I felt that I just had to come home to be here for her. Hopefully, we can go back later, but it is a long drive to Virginia. I did get to spend 3 days with my family. It was good to see them again.

I didn't do very good with my eating those few days. Everyone loves to cook for us and my SIL made peanut butter fudge, a cake and brownies. Plus we ate big meals. My scale is way up, but part of it is water retention. My feet are swollen from being in the car all day yesterday.

Wendy and Christie.. I'm going to get on that menu thread with you as soon as I can get my motivation started again. That is the trouble with getting off a diet, its very hard to get back on. But we can do it.

Sherri....Good luck with your babysitting service. Hope it goes well with your caller tonight.

Yes I do remember when all that happened with your friend and all. I remember saying what a great friend you were. You still are. To cut your vacation short to go to her side. You are an amazing woman and your friend should feel so proud to have you.

I am sorry to hear about her husband though. How are you taking the whole thing? If there is anything I can do just give a yell.

You will get back on track girl. It is hard with vacations and emergency situations. You have been through a lot just being there for your friend. Sometimes things like that need to come first. You will get back to your plan and the scale will start to come down again.

Thanks for the encouragment. I called the woman but she wasn't home. I left a message for her. So we will see what happens.

Hi,
Had my weigh in tonight. Down 2 and 1/4 pounds for a total of 15. Just this week , I fianlly started to feel like I was loosing weight.
My dad came home from the hospital finally. It has been a long hard 4 weeks. But when I wanted to eat, I went to Quizno's for a Turkey lite sandwich with extra tomatoes and splurged on a bag of baked lays potato chips.
Every night I also have a scoop of fat free chocolate yogurt in a small ice cream cone. Takes the edge of.
