My recent A1C was 9!It was 8.2 at the time of Diagnosis!!I haven't had an under 200 on my Meter since,March 22.The Evening of February 19,I had a 112.It seems my BS has been hay wire ever since I had Bronchitis before Christmas! I currently don't take Diabetes Medication.Metformin causes excruciating pain in my Legs,and I REFUSE to take Avandia due to the Cardiovascular risks it can create.

It has been a year since I had my A1C done....it was 6.0 - but I went downhill this last year and I am afraid it will be higher this next time. I need to go soon.

Sorry to hear that ...I have been able to keep mine between 5-6 with my diet...no simple sugars, lower carb ...

can you adjust your diet any ?
