Need encouragement

  • I have been trying to exercise for an hour M-F. I just put on my headphones, dance do some exercise moves. Basically move and keep my heart rate up. I haven't been eating too much lately, going through some rough stuff right now and I sometimes just don't wanna eat but that will end. I need to just make a this a lifestyle change and not weigh myself too much for now. This is week 3 for exercise and I just love the way I feel exercising and I have to keep that in my mind or I will do what I always do, give up. I get very whacked when i try to lose weight, my brain just goes crazy. I have struggled with weight since I was young and in 8th grade took up vomiting to keep my weight down, so now I have to deal with the struggles that I am going through. I no longer vomit haven't for a long time about 10 years. My goal is to just take care of my body I will be 42 this year and I need to really work on having a life without all this weight. Thanks for listening to me and I will try to go on here everyday for accountability.
  • Hi and I feel for you! It's great that you want to exercise and be healthy, that's the beginning. It's great that you are aware that you feel great when you exercise, and you are already on week three!

    Keep it up, and keep coming here for support. You will definitely reach your goal! And I hope the rough stuff clears up for you. Stay strong.

  • Sounds like you are taking some great steps in the right direction. Do you have a food plan in mind? Be sure to keep jumping in and reading - definitely a lot of help here!

    I get very whacked when i try to lose weight, my brain just goes crazy. Boy do I understand that comment! Oh too well!! Your movement/exercise sounds great...especially because you are enjoying it and feel the difference.

    Do you have a food plan? Despite the fact that I go crazy when I try to "diet" or mess with my food...I am learning the art of planning my food and what I am going to eat. Whew, it is difficult...I try to remember baby steps.
