New to SBD!!

  • Today is my 5th day on Phase 1 and so far am down 8 pounds! Wohoo! I have seen the 1.5 phase, and would like some in depth info on how you do that....I'm terrified to move on to Phase 2, carbs just don't seem to be my friend. Can't wait to get to know everyone!

    You'll get lots of suggestions here, and I suggest reading through old threads. There's lots of info on this forum. The SBD book discusses slowly easing into Phase 2, which is what we call 1.5 here. You'll do just fine-concentrate on a clean P1 right now !

  • I started in 2005, so it hasn't been an overnight thing, but each successive year I've weighed a little less. I've only been following SBD for a year now, and I love it! I'm eating the way I always dreamed I wanted to; healthy.

    Phase 1.5 is just a sort of "tweenie" phase that several of us have made up here and follow. For me it means just one grain a day, but as much fruit as I want. The trick is to find what foods set off your cravings, and them limit them. As Lexxiss pointed out, we have a thread or two stickied in the FAQ section of this forum that discuss how to introduce Phase 2 into your diet, with a lot of helpful information.
