I'm nervous ... I don't know why!
We are going to look at an almost 2 year old golden doodle.
The family lives in the country and has a farm/barn and there are a lot of cats around and their daughter likes to name and befriend the cats and apparently the dog DOES NOT like cats and I guess it's traumatizing when the dog tries to attack the cats.
They have 2 other dogs that have no problem with the cats. I don't have cats or plan on getting one since I'm allergic so no problem here.
This will be our first dog here though so I think that's why I'm nervous. I had a dog when I lived with my parents and she passed away last summer .
And we've wanted to get a dog but were waiting until winter was over.

So I'm excited but nervous too!

That's so cool! I just got my puppy last fall and he is the GREATEST! I was nervous too but like you I had a dog at my parents house... you'll be fine!

Congratulations!!! Golden doodles are great dogs! My best friend and my mom each have one, and they're so sweet and loyal. Fun personalities, too!

I adopted my first dog last summer, and it's the best thing I've ever done! My boyfriend also just adopted a puppy, so now we have a little monster running around and keeping my princess active.
