Well, I'm back OP after a disastrous weekend. Oh my, oh my. Linda was a very naughty girl.
Went to the pool this morning and worked out pretty hard there. Otherwise, pretty lazy all day. I had to go and get groceries and when I got home Y&R was on so watched that, sort of dozing at the same time. Then somehow I got the Shopping Channel on and darned if I didn't order myself a couple of things. A pretty blue jade bracelet, necklace and earrings with sterling silver settings and a Chinese motiff, and the other set is turquoise and sterling. I've never ordered from there before and DH will s**t bricks when he finds out. What can I say? The devil made me do it.

I'm calling them my belated 38th anniversary gifts (from HIM) LOL.
BTW, Pooky, congratulations on your anniversary AND the healthy eggs. I hope you get even better news real soon.
Ruth, did you get your shampooer from Safeway? I've been seriously thinking about doing my heavy traffic areas with one of them because the rest of the carpet is still clean. I hate to pay someone to come in to do the whole carpet when it's just a few areas that really need it. Did you pre-spray yours?
Princess, just count the -2 lb from today. You will lose the other 2 lb again and feel really great about it but if you count it as -4 today, and then you gain a couple, you will feel terrible. Does that make sense?
Today, I felt simply marvelous after gassing up my car. Not because the prices were good...they sure weren't.

But the lady who runs the store and gas bar in our neighbourhood said to me when I walked in to pay "LINDA, what have you done? You've lost so much weight!". I told her she wins a prize because she's the first person in a whole year of dieting to notice a difference in my size. She also said I am walking easier which is true. I never could have climbed all those stairs at the Street of Dreams on Saturday if I hadn't lost this 35 lb over the past year. Let's see, five houses with at least two full flights of stairs each makes 10 flights of stairs up and and 10 down. I think it's also helped that for the past year I've been climbing the stairs from the pool level to the lobby of our rec center which is about 16 steps. Last year I would have to stop several times to try to catch my breath and then sit for a while at the top because I thought my lungs were imploding. Now I can do it all in one go, packing a 30 lb bag and don't have to stop to rest after either. Life is good.
