Over the past 5 months I really let myself go and gained I know at least 10lbs (as proven by Dr. scales)I started SBD yesterday but I am too terrified to actually get on the scale to get my starting weight...am I being weird? Do you think it will be ok for me mentally to wait until phase 1 is done?
I was a long time weight watcher gal until the weight I was watching never left no matter how good I was so I have traded in my points for the simple life of no breads, pastas, rice, & grains. But how does a long time wine drinker give up her glass or two with dinner?
I would love to get some advice, recommendations, and anything else you can share
thanks

, Nancy! IMHO, I don't like scales much, and try to avoid them, too. It drives me nuts how your weight can vary from day to day, and how each scale you weight on will tell you something different. I think taking your measurements and seeing the inches whittle away is a much more encouraging and accurate way of tracking your weightloss.
Hi, Nancy! Great to have you here!
what a great way to measure success!

--- why can't it be tummy and hips???
